Hiya! I'm Kelly, coach of Kaper Y Upkot. And this Upkot building in Hasselt doesn’t have one, not two, but three towers! All connected by a big garden, and all three right across from PXL and within walking distance of Hasselt University. You’re living here with 96 other Upkotters, but we’re one tight community. The more, the merrier!

Why study in Kaper Upkot
Kaper Upkot comprises three student blocks in an ideal location: right next to PXL University of Applied Sciences and within walking distance of Hasselt University. The project features 258 rooms and boasts a brand-new communal area, the Talent hUp, as well as a study café. These are the perfect spots for studying together, partying or simply chilling out with your flatmates.
Kaper Upkot has cosy kitchens and chill-out rooms on every floor. The building also has a secure bicycle storage area, a study café, a laundry room and even a large, green garden.
Yes, Kaper Upkot has its own study room or study café where you can study with your flatmates or organise group work.

Hasselt railway station is just a 7-minute bike ride from Kaper Upkot. There are also several bus stops just a stone’s throw from the building, which can take you to both the station and the centre of Hasselt in a matter of minutes.
The Upkot Coach is responsible for the social activities organised in the building. For example, many public holidays are celebrated at Upkot. These include a fun Christmas market, a visit from Sinterklaas, or a welcome drink for all students. The coach also organises smaller, fun activities for the students throughout the year. Feel free to plan your own activities or organise something fun with your flatmates.
