At Upkot, you’re not just renting a student room; you’re choosing a complete student experience. Our professionally managed student rooms are semi-furnished with a bed, wardrobe and desk, and have a unique look and feel. As well as your room, you can enjoy shared facilities such as a study café, chill-out rooms, shared kitchens, a garden, a gym, and more. You pay a fixed monthly rent plus fixed monthly charges for electricity, heating, water, internet and waste disposal, so you know exactly what your student accommodation will cost at the end of the month and you’ll never face any surprises. On top of that, you get access to a fantastic Upkot community where you’ll make friends for life, and the Upkot coach is always on hand with activities, a listening ear or a quick fix for technical issues.

Upkot rooms are semi-furnished: each room is equipped with a bed, wardrobe, desk, curtains, lighting and a washbasin. Looking for a bit more comfort? Depending on the room type, you can also enjoy a private toilet, shower or even your own kitchen. This way, you can choose the option that suits you best.

At Upkot, it’s not just about your student room; the communal areas make all the difference. Depending on the Upkot building, you can enjoy a study café for group study, chill-out rooms and cosy living areas to relax, communal kitchens, a fitness room, a garden or terrace, a laundry room, and more. All these spaces in your student accommodation are designed for socialising, getting to know new fellow students and really feeling at home. At Upkot, there’s always a place for you, whether you want to study, work out or just chill.

Every Upkot project has a secure bicycle parking facility so you can park your bike safely.

Security is a key part of the Upkot concept. The entrances are monitored by CCTV and can only be accessed via a badge, ensuring that only residents can enter the building. In addition, there are a number of house rules to ensure everyone gets on well together. Do you have any questions or have you run into a problem? The Upkot coach is your point of contact, even if they aren’t always physically present in the building. You can easily reach them via the tenants’ app, My Upkot.

Every Upkot building has a dedicated Upkot coach, who acts as your personal point of contact for practical queries, social matters and study-related challenges. The coach also organises activities and events so that you can get to know your fellow students and quickly feel at home. Finding things a bit tough during the revision or exam period? Through our Upkot Cares campaign, we organise social events and food breaks to help you unwind. And for those who need a professional chat: through Feel Free To Talk, students can request up to three free sessions with a psychologist. At Upkot, you’re never on your own.

Upkot student rooms and halls of residence are strategically located close to campuses and public transport, so you can easily get from your accommodation to your lectures every day – on foot, by bike, or by tram and bus. No long commutes, just extra time to study or relax. What’s more, our student rooms are often located in lively student neighbourhoods, close to popular cafés, cosy coffee bars and affordable restaurants. So you’re not just living close to your campus, but right at the heart of student life.

At Upkot, you pay a fixed monthly rent for your student room, which includes use of all communal areas, participation in activities and support from your Upkot coach. On top of that, you pay a fixed, flat-rate monthly amount for electricity, heating, water, internet and waste disposal. That way, you know exactly what a student room at Upkot costs each month. In addition to the standard furniture in your student room, you’re free to add extra furniture and accessories to make your room feel like a real home away from home. To hang up photos and posters, we provide a magnetic strip or pinboard so you don’t have to damage the walls. We simply ask that you leave the room in the same condition as you found it when you arrive.
