Manon loves a good sweat session at CrossFit, travelling (35 countries and counting!) and nerdy fun facts. But above all, she’s a true people person. The more students around her, the better. Motivational pep talks, putting out little fires or a quick chat in the hallway: Manon brings the warm vibes. Food breaks, movie nights or kitchen parties? Always a solid 10/10 for atmosphere and cosiness.

Just a four-minute walk from the University of Mons, you can easily have a quick snooze and still make it to class on time. Mons Upkot offers modern rooms and communal areas where you’ll feel right at home as a student.
Mons Upkot has cosy kitchens and chill-out rooms on every floor. The building also has a secure bike storage area, a laundry room, a study café and even a few large, sunny terraces. And to top it all off, Mons Upkot even has a gaming room.
Yes, Mons Upkot has its own study room or study café where you can study with your flatmates or organise group work.

Bergen railway station is just a five-minute bike ride from Mons Upkot. Several bus stops a stone’s throw from the building will take you to both the station and the centre of Bergen.
The Upkot Coach is responsible for the social activities organised in the building. Many public holidays are celebrated at Upkot, for example. Think of: a lovely Christmas market, a visit from Sinterklaas, a welcome drink with all the students, etc. In addition, the coach also organises smaller, fun activities for the students throughout the year. Feel free to plan your own activities or organise something fun with your flatmates.
